长途的飞机旅行、疲惫重复的巡回演讲，让我在又一次出门前拿起这本比手掌大一点点的小册子。小编1号在 2022 年的 OSDT Weekly 中推荐过星野道夫写的《森林、冰河与鲸》一书，至今回忆起《森》依然能够带给我震撼。

而这本《魔法的语言》刚开始读起来则显得重复和无聊：收集的是作者生前在不同的场合分享自己如何去阿拉斯加、以及去了阿拉斯加之后的故事。由于过去的历史是确定的，作者不像余华莫言那样能够丰富幽默地创造过去的有趣经历，刚开始翻阅的时候，总是会有一种“啊，那一段故事要来了”的预感和倦怠。谈不上失望，而且也会继续往下阅读。就像是复习一段经历。

由于参加欧洲开源峰会的关系，这个星期的白天一直在维也纳的会议中心漫无目的的晃荡，其他时间就窝在会议中心不远的一个游乐场旁边的酒店里。近距离的看着 Linus 逐渐老去，偶遇到 RISC-V 开源社区的几位 Zoom 熟人，混入 Linux Plumbers Conference 的 RISC-V MC 中看开发者们把做成绿色方块状的麦克风扔来扔去。始终有一种抽离感和作为旁观者的自觉。“去阿拉斯加待一段时间或许也不错”这样的想法开始在我的脑海中想起，尤其是在我例行公事般的不同场合的演讲中不断的重复自己说过的话的时候。

离开维也纳的最后一个傍晚，我看到了特别好的夕阳。似乎是被什么人牵引着一般，出门，左转，再左转，走了几百步，找到了游乐场里最高的旋转塔，掏出了欧元，一个人坐在了117米的高空。当我第一次俯视夕阳下的古老城市是，一种未曾体验过的很奇妙的时间感受击中了我。时间仿佛都慢了下来。我清楚的看到太阳一点一点的落入群山之中。当机器缓慢的将我旋转地面，时间重新加速，夕阳消失，旁边大摆锤和过山车上人们的尖叫声重新回到现实。
